The Outpatient Program at PAHrtners provides outpatient therapeutic support to adults, adolescents, and children (accompanied by their caregivers) who are: Deaf or Deaf-Blind and use American Sign Language or other visual or tactile methods to communicate; and Deaf or Hard of Hearing individuals who communicate using spoken English.
The Outpatient Program is designed to meet the needs of individuals who are living satisfactorily in the community and could benefit from counseling sessions to help work through life challenges.
Individuals are seen by therapists who are knowledgeable and sensitive to the communication and psychosocial issues related to hearing loss. Master’s level therapists use brief solution-focused therapy designed to enhance individual and family strengths. Often times family, friends, and other service providers are encouraged to become involved in an individual’s treatment.
Some of the services provided are:
• Individual Therapy
• Couples/Marriage Therapy
• Family Therapy
• Group Therapy
• Psychiatric Evaluations
• Medication Management and Education
• Linkages and Referrals
Frequency of sessions depends upon the individual’s needs and preferences.
Most insurances are accepted.
PAHrtners Outpatient Program is CARF accredited.
